We went to a quilt show today and there were some pretty purples displayed. I thought of this thread and took pics. Hope they came out:

This reads more blue but was purple

Here's my yellow brick road done in mostly purples. I was still pretty new and now would do it differently. I don't like the whites - they're too stark.

Purple is my favorite color so there is definitely one planned in my future. I even know what the pattern will be, I think.

Wow, more beautiful purple quilts. I have noticed that purple sometimes turns blue when it is photographed. I wonder why that is. I remember I once bought a beautiful purple fabric with a gold thread in it, and when I got it home, it was royal blue. Has to have something to do with light.

I have put my purple quilt on hold while I ponder all the possibilities. I have loved each of these.
