Funny! I have a problem that whenever anybody on tv or in front of me shrug their shoulders I immediately shrug mine. Sometimes my reaction is so quick I think that maybe I actually did it before they did! I have no control over this...it feels like a spasm. Very strange.
I do this sometimes, mostly with kicking, just found out there is a neurological reason for it. Same neurons fire in your brain whether you see it or do it.

Do you suppose that's the reason that many of us yawn when we see someone else yawn? When I read 'Santa Mouse' to my kids (30 yrs ago - sheesh) I couldn't help but yawn when I read that Santa Mouse yawned. The kids thought I was embellishing the story, but I couldn't help doing it.

Sorry! Would you like me to discuss further the image of slicing my fingertips off? That would at least get your mind off the 'you know what'. So, there's this big knife, and lots of hard veggies, and suddenly..........

I bet Kate's mother will not be chewing gum around the Royals in the future! It simply is not done!

Okay, here's my weird fear: unexpected sticky things. You sit down in a restaurant and you rest your arm on the table only to feel your arm stick on something. You couldn't see it was there, you just felt it. Now it is on your clothes or skin. Yucky! I'm guessing somebody had pancakes today. Makes me shiver just thinking about it.

The thing I try to avoid with all my being is styrofoam!!! I can not stand how it feels or the sound it makes. Christmas, birhdays, etc. is hard for me because of styrofoam. I have to leave the room or completely plug my ears. It drives me crazy for some reason.
