I'm loving all the quilts - so many beautiful colour combinations. I finally got my borders attached, so my top is now complete. The first photo is the whole quilt, but the black border kind of fades into the dark floor (it's the only place in my house big enough to lay this out). So the second photo is just a portion of the quilt, on a lighter floor where you can see the border better. Thanks to everyone who offered opinions on my border choices.

So many people had problems with clue 2 and 4 so I decided to make a paper pieced pattern for those two clues. I have emailed it to several quilters and they have all been very pleased with it - no complaints!

Beautiful quilt, Krista! Your fabrics are luscious. My husband likes it, too. All your borders are great.

BonnieI, if it's any consolation... I'm still working on Clue 4 too. Not because I have done it wrong but I work full time and the holidays were crazy for our business which gave me even less time to sew. I am also committed to finishing the quilt and love how everyone's is looking.

Krista, your colors are awesome... I wish I had more confidence, when I chose my fabrics, to step outside the box. Great job!

BonnieI and jmoore, I'm also still working on clue 4. I had to go buy more black to have matching squares. I was working from scraps and just didn't have that much black to making 16 matching 2x2 squares. Hopefully this weekend I can get back to it. Everyone's quilts look so nice!! I think this pattern looks good with so many different colors! Great job!

    Well done, krista!

Ladydukes, that was so nice of you to share your pattern. I believe I would have taken you up on the kind offer if I hadn't already finished clue #4, lol.
