I love both, and have had both at the same time (2 of each)! Right now I have a cat, due to health issues and inability to give a dog the necessary attention it deserves! I guess I would prefer a dog(s), but cats require less constant attention.

Both, I've had 3 dogs but cats fit our life style better right now. Hope to have 1 more dog in my life at some point.

be careful of the border collie theyre born to be working dogs and are very bored if they dont have herding to to do lol. ours had to go live at the farm because when she got bored she got destructive. shes a great dog she just needed something to keep her occupied. you should have seen her trying to herad the cat it was a riot.
