    I think just the plain dark border. The other borders (I think) make the quilt too busy. However, your quilt will still be beautiful no matter which border you choose.

    I like the plain dark green border and nothing else on it. Nothing is distracting from the bargello.

    I like the first one too. Busy quilt, just needs a nice soft border, so it doesn't detract from the beautiful quilt. Colors of borders are great too!

    I also sent the pictures to my sister, my niece's mother. Before she was a teacher and principal, she was an art major... but more importantly, she knows what her daughter likes.

    She picked the thin dark green, bargello pieces with a wider dark green border. But she thought it was important to match the bargello pieces to the actual quilt.

    I have the small dark green border and two of the bargello strips on. The larger green border is just setting next to it.

    What do you think?
