I was so touched by your story. I can relate to how you feel about your grandmother - mine died in 1967, and I've missed her every day of my life since then. What a treasure you have! And how wonderful that your daughter can wear your jacket... her coat of many colors. :)

That's deffinently a coat of many colors, as the song goes. How lucky you are.

What a treasure! Won't it be so wonderful to go back and finish that quilt.
The baby is pretty cute, too!

What a beautiful gift. What an amazing mother and Grandmother you have in your life. I just became a Granna for the first time on Nov 16th. I pray I have that kind of relationship with my grandchildren. Our first is a boy and his Dad said no quilting or baking and I told him just wait and see. Ha

What a beautiful touching story. How wonderful and a treasure for ever. She will live on forever. Keep it going.
I know how you feel, as my grandma was the beautiful, sweet kind lady I pray to be like. No one could ever possibly take her place. I too have a quilt after her and wouldn't part with it for all the money in the world.
God bless. Thank you for the precious story.

Ah, the best things in life are free and this is another instance to prove it! What a treasure of a gift, and how awesome that your own mom "knows you" and how you would appreciate passing it on. I also loved the tissue box gift. I guess that is a sign of good things to come.
