It looks like a fun quilt.
I still haven't found the "elephant pinwheel" or is it the same thing?
Thanks for sharing all the great ideas. This will be a good project

So I need to use that final measurement to figure out how many I need to make a twin size quilt. Am I correct?

She likes purple with pink, does that make sense. All opinions welcome. Thanks.

Just remember if you are using the sew around the edges method that the size is funny so you may have trouble joining the blocks.

I just got the fabric ironed today, so it's an omen that this project is coming up now! I'm planning to make scrapy pinwheels. The fabrics are pink and brown and the center panel has lots of big butterflies on it. The "baby" is now almost 2, so I'll make the finished quilt toddler sized. I'm also doing the Stars BOM, as well as working on the EQ6 class I'm taking from Quilt University. I'd better slow down. I do still need to eat, sleep, and do that darned housework!
The do grow fast!

You don't have to show pictures but we love pictures here! :-D
Maybe we should have a new post for all the pictures?
My old camera doesn't work well and I can't remember how to work the new one so I'm not good at pictures.

The important thing is having the blocks ALL the same size whatever that happens to be.
Subtract .5 and that is the size of the finished block!
So many blocks across and so many down will give you the quilt measurement so you can decide how many blocks to make.
