I am within an hour or less from 6 very nice LQS. Probably the same for 2 Joanns and 3 Hancocks.

My favorite LQS is 28 miles from my house; I know this because it's across the street from my office. I can almost see it out my window - how's that for a budget buster? LOL

There is another LQS a few miles south of that, but it's in a "trendy" downtown area with a lot of traffic and one-way streets...and no parking.

None of the Walmarts in my area carry fabric.

Forgot Joanns, which is a few more miles south yet. But I'm lucky to have it!

Only one that's worth a darn nearby. Couple of hours away is another worth a darn.

I have one in my town, but it is a very small town. 10 miles and there are two more LQS, JoAnn Fabrics, and Hancock Fabrics. 30 miles and there was a Wal-Mart that used to have fabric, but I don't know if they still do or not.

I also feel lucky. Within 10 miles I have 5 LQS, Joanns, Hancocks, Hobby Lobby, and 2 Walmarts with fabric. I support them all quite well :)

There is a small one 30 miles away, another one 80 miles away and the biggest one is 90 miles away.

I have 8 shops within a 20 mile drive, a WalMart 3 miles away that carries fabric, and 2 JoAnn's, so I guess I'm pretty lucky. I also have a Michaels that is about 10 miles away. My favorite shop is about 3 miles away. Oh, I live in the "country", so I guess that IS lucky.
