I often buy books with my coupons, they seldom go on sale and it makes them much more affordable.

I use my 40% off coupon every time i get one., but then i only live 5 minutes away. There's always something i can use it on: batting, backing, thread, rotary blades, a book or quilt pattern, stabilizer, plastic storage container, etc.

Somehow I always find something to spend my 40% coupon on there. Yesterday it was the easy circle cutter ruler but next time I think it'll be the June Tailor quarter cut ruler.

I am a homeschooler so I'm going to apply for the teacher card-I got a photo id from PEAH. I have a QCA member discount now but I don't plan to renew.

eta: the QCA card is 10% and also works on sale items. Not sure about the teacher discount card.

I always check out the book dept and the rulers. I also check out the plastic storage boxes. Sometimes I just use it on Sulky thread. Whatever is not currently on sale.

I don't think that you can use your c/o on magazines because they supposedly already discount them.

They didn't use to have everything on sale like they do now. It is almost as if EVERY thing is on sale and you can't use your coupon on much left. So if I am there I still try to find something to use it on lol.

The coupon for 40 or 50% off is good on one regular priced item, only. You can't use two coupons on any one item. However, the 20% coupon is good on everything NOT already covered by a coupon, whether or not it is on sale. It is great to buy items already on sale for 40-50% off, then use your 20% off coupon on those items. It can be tricky, but being careful and working the "system" can really pay off! (speaking from much experience!)
