    Hi Peewee:
If you go to the Picture thread I have posted a picture of the sock pattern that can be downloaded and copied.

CCBEAR ...Thank you for the posted website. I tried to post the website address so all anyone had to do was click on it but I didn't have any luck. I'm not great at doing computer stuff...

No, don't mail them to me...please mail them directly to the coordinator whose address is listed on the website. I have 2 threads regarding this project...one under pictures and one under Block of the Month and I'm not sure which thread has the webpage address??? Have some folks coming over in jsut a minute so no time to check it for you. Sorry.

Thank you, Feathers, for telling us about the need for Christmas Stockings for our Troops. I went to the website and got the pattern and the particulars. www.marinecorpsfamilyfoundation.org

My Homemakers group made about 150 of them yesterday. We only stopped because we ran out of fabric!!

We made up groups to trace, sew, cut, turn right side out, and iron.

We plan to make more next week after we get more supplies.

I know that we all got much more than we gave!

Pal! WOW! I'm so thrilled that you and your group have done such a wonderful, generous job of Sock making for our soldiers. THANK YOU ALL.

Thanks to all of you on the board for participating in this project. As PAL said in her e-mail, we are getting much more than we are giving when we send a Christmas sock. With so many people participating there should be socks for alot of our young men and women who are over there.

FOR ALL WHO MADE OR ARE MAKING SOCKS, MAKE SURE AND POST PICTURES OF WHAT YOU'VE DONE BEFORE YOU SEND THEM. SEEING THE PROJECT KEEPS US ALL MOTIVATED. ALSO, REMEMBER THE DEADLINE TO HAVE THE SOCKS [b]TO THE PROJECT COORDINATOR IS OCTOBER 15TH. THEY HAVE TO BE IN THE COORDINATOR'S HANDS ON THE 15TH.

    Hi Feathers,

I must be missing something. I went to the site provided by ccbear but could not download the pattern although the instructions were there.

Now I can not findthe Picture thread for this BOM.
    Where is the thread?

    Connie
