I am sure your friend will love the fact that you have made something for her baby.

After the baby is grown it would make the perfect lapquilt. I like it...

Great colours for a baby quilt. I would definitely keep going and finish it. You could always applique a kitten or bunny on it in one of the corners if you wanted to make it more "girly", but, it is great as is.

Looks great. Why not FMQ some flowers on it? You might even consider doing a bit of fabric folding to make a few flowers to tuck on it!!

I guess if it doesn't look babyish enough it's no biggie cuz then she can use it longer... but be honest, what do ya'll think? should I keep going? I haven't pieced the top yet, the blocks are sitting there next to each other but not sewn yet.
This is a rail fence baby quilt I made for a little girl whose mom doesn't want pink. It was well received. Certainly not traditional baby! Yours is great.

I think it is great. Like someone else said it has flowers and there are other ways to make it girly without making it pink.

Personally I'm tired of if it's for a girl it has to be pink. Every time I see the color pink I think of breast cancer so I for one if it was for me would be happy with it.

I would just quilt it with flowers and/or hearts. i agree that if the quilt is less baby-ish it will be used longer.
I would stick with what you have!
