Why spend money on tote bags. am sure you have some around. Carry the lightest weight one or two you have or if you have time, then make one real quick. $10 is a yd of fabric. I have a box full of quilt show tote bags that I have never used since going to the show.

I've used a backpack in the past and also a large tote. Now I just watch what I spend and take a small tote, decided to look pick up business cards and shop later on line with the seller. Works really well. Have a good time, I will be there Thurs. - Sat. alittle each day. Love to shop with my eyes!!

I like to buy the tote back sold by the show! It is very sturdy/roomy and I consider it a sovenier of the show. I will have the tote long after the fabric/goodies has been cut up and sewn. After the show I use it for projects etc. . I find it more useful that the pins they sell.
Everytime I use it when I go some where ... no matter where I am .. someone comments and asks "you must be a quilter". The last bag I purchased was at the Chicago show , and was the last year they had the show in Chicago, so many have offered to purchase that bag .
If you decide to bring one there are some great light weight/sturdy bag that fold up really well , that you can use while you are in the quilt exibition area , before the vendor spaces.

I think you need a doctor's note to use a rolling cart. The floor is really crowded at times. I use a backpack because I like to shop hands free. I keep my money in a fanny pack. It's a good idea if you see something you like but don't buy it right away, make a note of the booth number so you can find it the next day. Enjoy the experience!
