I would try blocking it using moonpi's advice, then I would just bind it and move on down the road. Your DH will love it no matter what because you made it for him and you will just look at it as another little bump in the learning curve of quilting.

I have a stack of quilts here..from my first ones (06 to recently) It is obvious that I am improving....so just look at it as a good thing. Since you did this awhile back...you are just better at it now...that doesn't make that wall hanging "bad" though. I like it!

I would square it up the best I could put the binding on and chaulk it up as a lesson learned and not say a word to anyone......since we don't see the problem.....:-)

You can try putting it in some cold water then hand squeeze the water out and try to square it up by laying it out flat and pinning it until it is dry. Hope this make some sense to you.

i would put a bottom sleeve in there, wet the way jackie said, and then rehang to dry with an additional wood or pvc rod in the bottom to 'stretch and dry'.

Great looking wallhanging!!! I would probably just bind it and be done, we all are supposed to learn from our experiences and chalk it up to experience. Personally, I don't see your concern, your husband will love it because you made it for him and he had a hand in designing it.

Sharon Schamber has a great video on her site that fully explains how to block and shrink blocks that are not the correct size when you finish. I recommend that yo ugo go to her site and have a look. I tried what she said to do and it worked really well for me.

I would definately try and block it. Maybe the borders need to be redone also....love the pattern
