I make gift cards from the old greeting cards too ..... fold as you like, and then line up with my quilting rulers and run the rotary cutter along. Nice and straight and square!

Sometimes I use the picture ... and sometimes I use the verse on the inside as the front of the new gift card.
I'm able to make teeny-tiny cards, to some fair sized ones.

I always have far more made, than the gifts I need them for. They give me lots of choices, so I can personalize it to the person who will receive it.

I have saved my cards for yrs & reuse the front. I print a new card with my own wording & glue front on. Love doing that.... But sometimes you can buy cute cards really cheap...

Good idea. I saved my dull pinking and wavy blades for my rotarty cutter to use on paper.

I like to take the prettiest ones and make small boxes out of them. Some I hang on my Christmas tree for ornaments

Please don't replace CHRIST with an X. I know it is quicker, but it doesn't take much more time to type Christmas.
    Thanks,
    Kathy

We do that too! the kids used to make the boxes as little ornaments for our tree. If the boxes were big enough, we could use them as little gift boxes for tiny gifts like jewelry. It ws a good way to keep the occupied over Xmas break or on snow days.
