    you should be very proud of this quilt....I can follow a pattern with the best of them but can't design worth a darn. I've been quilting for 6 years and still struggle with the math (I've never been good at math), so I try to stick to something printed out for me. This is a wonderfully designed and executed quilt and beats anything I've made in all those years.

    Congratulations!! On a beautiful quilt very well done!!!! You ARE a natural with that quilt as your first one completed. The blue sashing is absolutely perfect!!! (And I was one who thought black would be great) LOL

    You quilt is wonderful. Using the solid/mottled is a wonderful choice. Colors appear so bold and vibrant.
