    I use wooden spool racks mounted on my wall. I have them covered with clear vinyl so I can see them, but they are still protected from dust.

    One of the neat things about 'maturing' [or growing older] is downsizing. I just plain 'ol don't need as much stuff like clothes. I found I had extra space in my dresser in my bedroom. One if for my cone thread and such. Best of all, I know where it is and don't have to hunt for it.

    I don't have many cones of thread yet. I have mine in a quart canning jar. When I get a shelf up and line them up I think they will look nice.
