Wow! Wish I had a friend who loved me enough to come help me do this. My quilting/sewing friends just laugh (somewhat hysterically) if I mention organizing my stash. Wonder what that means? Too much stash maybe???

U-line makes a strong foam board (8 1/2 by 11) that works great for larger lengths of fabric. They are sturdy and can be mixed in with the comic boards to give your smaller boards more support. I love my stash now. I can see what I have and use from it. Unfortunately it does not keep me from buying new stuff! LOL

I use cake boards from the cake decorating aisle and cut them in fourths. Then i use large plastic covered paper clips to secure the fabric. Works really well. You can also use the cardboard from the fabric department bolts. They are usually happy to get rid of them.

WOW, I love the wh-on-wh and tone-on-tone fabrics. I thought I had too many so made 3 rail fence quilts with them, then did 3 reds-whites-blues rail fence quilts and I STILL have soo many wh-on-whs. They are restful to me to see them.

Look great--I just looked at my stash and mine is totally disorganized. I wish I has someone to spend time with me helping me get everything in order like you
