How blessed you are to have a DH so in touch with you and what you do. He sounds like a really wonderful man.

What a great story; a husband that "gets it"!

Hah, if we're expecting company and my sewing room is a mess, I just close the door. I won't forget one time, when my room was really in an uproar. I had my tubs of fabric open and stacked right behind my roller chair, in several stacks 4' high. The ironing board was pulled away and also in the middle of the room, since the fabric tubs usually sit stacked behind the ironing board. I had piles of fabric on my cutting/sewing machine table. It reminded me of a room a hoarder would have with skinny pathways thru stacks of stuff. Granted it isn't always like this, it just was then. We had friends over and Tammy wanted to see what I was working on then. I told her my room was a mess, but I opened the door anyway. I think she was a bit aghast, but "Oh well". It's since been rearranged, with better access to the bookcase and tubs of fabric. But it could be that way again, if I was in the middle of picking out fabric.

I don't think that's a comment I'll ever hear from my husband! He doesn't complain, but he'll NEVER say it's too neat!
