    I agree that it needs more yellow since both sides have yellow - albeit different shades. I can see the purple, but I can also see more blue. More intense than in the reds, but less intense than with the greens.

    Are you sure you need a quilt? You got that lumpy brown fuzzy thing - lol

    I bought a bundle of oranges from ebay..more amy butler etc fabric on the way for the middle section.

    Yeah, it's all going to be long stripes of material, I saw a stripey one on flickr.com and decided I would do one for my 1st quilt. I don't think I'll ever use a pattern, they seem too complicated for me, I can just copy other peoples.

    I've discovered I really hate trying to tie knots in the thread, fiddling about, getting sweaty hands! The red section is almost finished, then I'll do the orange, then the border and backing then the pattern stitching over the whole thing
