I go to the Dollar Stores and buy the kids drawing tablets. The paper is thinner than copy paper and works great for PP.

Thanks, everyone. I don't have a project in mind yet, but I may try it out to see how it goes.

i've been doing pp for my dear jane blocks. i use the fold back method, so do not sew through the paper. i really like it. i use regular copier paper. however, i found that the light blue paper is best for my eyes.

I use regular copy paper and 2.5 stitch length. When it's time to take the paper off the block, I run the back of my seam ripper along the stitching lines to perforate the paper. The paper easily comes off then.

I use 25% rag cotton paper. I bought a whole bunch when Office Depot was nearby. Now would have to order online or go to a paper supply store.

I didn't look like I bought that much but I did, it just doesn't take much space thickness wise.

I love paper piecing, also use the plain copy paper. I do have tracing paper from Carol Doak but it's like 3 times the price of a larger pack of copy paper. Also the Dollar Stores have the childrens paper as mentioned above and really does work well.
