    I've heard of them forever. Hamburger is the original, but they make them with all kinds of meat now, too. D'arcy's Pint in Springfield has dozens of types of them on the menu. I don't particulary care for them, but I've eaten many horseshoes. If you make them small, they are ponyshoes.

    These were my nephew's favorite. In honor of him (he died at age 22, 8 years ago) many in the family (from Connecticut to Utah) serve these on his birthday in his memory. I like them but agree with others, they aren't beneficial to watching your weight!

    Does not sound good. In East Texas they serve French fries with white gravy....also, not great, in my way of thinking.
