About a year ago I couldn't decide how to quilt a baby quilt that was going to be a gift. I kept dreaming about it until it was finished. I'm not usually so stressed about a quilt, but this on was special and I wanted it to be perfect. It was, but it kept waking me up. I was so glad to have it finished. The zombie quilt sounds like fun.

I dreamed that I went from fabric store to fabric store stocking up on LQS quality fabric, batting and supplies and I think I spent the entire night trying to figure out which vehicle would hold the most quilting supplies and how I'd pack it to get the most stuff in. Where the sewing machine would be most protected and if the window was opened could I get 2 or 3 rolls of batting? Did I want open windows? Hey, everyone else is a vampire the quilting world is my oyster right? It was so strange that I still remember it.

Anyone else dream quilts? Ok, maybe not zombie apocalypses....

Thank you so much for the making me laugh I love it!!

I told my dh the next morning, he was offended that he didn't have a place in the car.

I thought it was just me! LOL....my latest dreams have been of taking narrow stips and weaving them in and under tightly together into about 12 inch blocks including a border they are attached to and then sewing the blocks together. My other dream that has me stumped is that my husband has requested a Notre Dame quilt. I have spent a lot of time looking for Notre Dame themed fabric or designs. Nothing, Nada, Zip! So, I thought I would just do an ND design in navy blue on a gold background maybe with a shamrock border(?) not sure....see what dreams do to you. I could go on but why bother, you all know my pain!

I subscribe to a newsletter that I get several times a week in my email. One such newletter had a picture of a sewing machine cover pattern. It was the last thing I read before going to sleep one night.

All night long all my dreams consisted of making these covers. Some were rag quilt style, a few were really fancy, and some were just plain ugly. The one that haunted me all night was one made with eyelash fabric. I woke up thinking about this and went to my computer and deleted that email...lol

I definitely have quilting dreams. I've dream whole tutorials on a new project or just solved problems I was having with a current project. It all seems to simple in the morning!

Ha! I'm painting my sewing/knitting/spinning room (newly acquired room, took it from the hubby) and I have yet to set up my sewing machine but, I'll be darned... I've been dreaming of quilting all day long.
