Unless you are installing heat/AC, you need to be careful about too much humidity. Maybe bring your machine back in the house when not sewing.

I can do that at home, turn off the phone and ignore the dust. I have no problem with just doing what I want, I feel like I've earned the right to say no to housework and cooking. If you love to camp then I say go for it. I'm not the camper kind. Want to be in my home doing what I want.

Yup, me too. Nobody home all day. Just me to do as I please. As long as I put food on the table for breakfast, pack his lunch and cook dinner. The rest of the day is mine to do as I please.

I say go for it!!! We bought a vintage camper from our neighbor for just $200. It is small but cute. I keep begging DH to let me "glamp it up" but he won't. It is going to be his "man cave". LOL!! You can find tons of inspiration on Pinterest for vintage campers. When we get it restored, it will be used as a camper for short trips.

Wow - great idea! I think you have found your dream, and your mind is just fine right where it is! Love the cabin ideas, too. Problem here in VT is nine months of cold, cold weather. Hubby has a model railroad room, very large, but my sewing is split between living room and kitchen. Spare bedrooms upstairs are too cold to use for sewing. I dream of winning a lottery and transforming the upstairs over his room, formerly an attached barn room, into my very own sewing space, but it would cost way more than we could consider to insulate, build walls, add a heating system, etc. Do it if you can - NOW, while you are young enough to do it! (Regardless of how young/old you may be.)

Jan such a cute cottage and no neighbors top bottom or sideways you can sew anytime you want I have a row home altho I'm quiet and my neighbors are pretty much quiet you can still hear them so I make a point to not sew after 9pm only because my machines and cutting table are push up against the walls and noise carries

No thanks...my home is my place to be to do what I want.....running water, fireplace for cozy winter, pool for hot summer...when I do go away....hotel/motel is my choice.....let someone else make the bed, clean the bathroom and cook for ME!
