    Maybe the 6 hour thing is why it suddenly felt right yesterday. I've been working on the FMQ on this quilt for a couple weeks, for a half hour or hour in the evening a couple days a week. Yesterday I spent a fair amount of time on it throughout the day - probably 4 or 5 hours in the same day.

    Looks great and its very, very pretty! I also know what you mean by it "clicking". I've just started quilting and I'm the type of person who starts as they mean to go on but get better! I practiced on a few scrappy sandwiches a couple of times and all 3, yes 3, quilts have been FMQ'd. Its definitely not the best, weird stitch lengths etc but Im new to sewing and to quilting so still learning, but its FUN!

    Just keep going.
