    Singer had really talented people design their decals. Out of all the patterns I've seen so far though that pattern is the prettiest.

    Steve, 1889 according to ISMACS. She looks just like mine!

    They'd switched to the 27 during 1891 according to wikipedia.

    Really History. This is the machine that belonged to the niece of the man who was the Governor of New York during the Civil War and then a NY Senator for a long time. The Fenton Museum did not want to maintain a machine not directly associated so I got the chance the be her caretaker....

    I polished the hand wheel today at lunch!

    Here is the hand wheel after polishing next to the fixture I built to hold it in the lathe
