Absolutely stunning work. Loved the dresses and bonnets. My mother would dress us up in anything smocked. I just love them on babies. Even some smocking for little boys. God forbid you would put something smocked on a little boy any more.

Thanks, brought back sweet memories of my two girls. I lost all my keepies in a house fire in 1986. Very nice work! Do you have the pullen pleater? Do you want to sell it? I could maybe teach my GDs.

I have a picture (4) of my mother, myself, my daughter and her daughter, all in the same dress at the same age. Priceless treasure. I now have 4 great grand daughters that are about the age to have their pictures made. It is nice that things are cherished and saved for generations to come.

So lovely. My daughter is also thirty-three, and I still have a couple of the dresses I smocked for her--we must have been doing it at the same time! I've seen some quilts that include smocked blocks and have been thinking of giving them a try. Thanks for the wonderful memory.

What beautiful work you did. They are gorgeous and so happy they have been well taken care of. Wish that would come back as I love the technique and how beautiful they come out. So girly. girly. Thanks for sharing.
