Fix, what fix? Looks good to me and the whole thing is outstanding. A bargello is on my bucket list. When I get around to it, I hope it looks as good as yours.

I certainly can't see it and if you put a quilting design over it it will be invisible to everyone! Great Bargello!

I'm sure we've all had these little blips, I know I have, and once quilted unless you look really carefully and examine every inch, you never see them

I LOVE your selections of fabric, look so soothing. It appears you didn't add up the widths to get your proper length which is TOTALLY understandable with all the borders. Give yourself a break !! You had 5 borders !! That is why EQ is such a great program. It would have given you the length of each border and then you could have added a few inches. You are the only person on this earth that will know where you were short. Just get it quilted and be happy with the beautiful quilt you made !! Remember the Amish actually make an intentional mistake on their quilt!!

Firstly, your quilt is lovely. Second, your solution was perfect. I can not even tell with stiletto pointing, where the join is. Like your idea of problem-solving solutions. Kind of hope there won't be too many but if everyone sews like I do, this will soon be a busy posting place. LOL!

Your quilt is beautiful, and even looking closely, I couldn't really see that seam. I had a very similar problem mitering the corners on a quilt that I had spent literally hundreds of hours hand piecing. I chose the borders from my stash. It seemed fitting since all the hand pieced stars were scraps. I got to the corners and was short on the outer borders, so I pieced in a longer triangle of the outer border. I'm sure mine is more noticeable, but every quilt I make is a snapshot of my abilities at the time. Hopefully I won't make that same mistake again.
