    I can certainly relate to the drought issue. One thing I really miss about living in Washington state and Kansas are all the wild flowers we don't have them in Southern Cal. I love you pansy quilt. It is very pretty.

    Oh, I know you have this awful drought too. Every time they show the national map with the bright red double bad drought...it is you guys in Southern Cal and "us guys" in the wrong part of north central Texas. Someday that will change. I know we are all ready.

    It's lovely. Colourful, cheerful and reminds me of a Scottish summer garden (minus the weeds of course!) Hopefully you will have real flowers in your garden soon.

    Love your quilt!! Gives me ideas for some dogwood print I have been saving. (They don't grow well in our climate and I love them.) I can relate to your drought problems. No raccoons, but here in the country, we have had rabbits in hordes eating everything. I guess since everything is so dry, they came to visit for dinner and water. We have been lucky lately to get a little rain...just enough to give the men a rest from corn harvest!
