I love these. Could you tell us the pattern names?

Here's a line with "shirting" type fabrics that screams male: http://www.fatquartershop.com/woven-...quarter-bundle

I'm making a quilt for my brother with blue and brown batiks using this line: http://www.fatquartershop.com/rockpo...quarter-bundle

Or you could try something with solids: http://www.fatquartershop.com/neutra...quarter-bundle

The first quilts shown on this thread were Next in Line by Weeks Ringle and Bill Kerr from their book Transparency Quilts and Block Buster by KariePatch Designs.

I made this bargello for my DH and he LOVES it. His favorite color is purple so I used purples, blacks, greys, and white. Bargellos are great because they look hard to do but a lot of them are very simple to make. This is a mix of prints, solids, and batiks from my stash.

I Just made three 'male' quilts. One for a baby, one for a 19yo and one for a 39 yo. And I used the same fabric line for all - Connecting Threads Symphony of Blues.

    http://www.connectingthreads.com/col...lectionBox-162

Three different patterns, one fabric line = 3 great quilts that worked for any age. I was able to get all three quilts out of two fat quarter packs. The bonus right now is that it is on sale for 20% off.

here's a link to a fabric line called "Indigo Blues" by Henry Glass. It doesn't show it properly on the website, but the fabric is REVERSIBLE ... so you can use one side for one block, and the other side for another block. There is a solid that matches perfectly. I just finished a quilt with this fabric line.

The website also has some nice free patterns to download for this line.

I'd LOVE to see your finished quilt if you have a pic to post? The fabrics are stunning! Definitely some of my favourites.
