Wow! This quilt is gorgeous! It might have been an "ugly ol' quil" to put together, but it turned out wonderful. I love the scalloped border and the quilting on the scallops. I would just enjoy looking at the blocks which are unique because of the cutting. The red polka dot sashing really sets the blocks off. You really made a "swan" out of this fabric that your sister didn't care for.

I hate the saying, but the quilt is a lot of fun. Like ugly girls?

Love your quilt! It's amazing to me how these blocks come out.

I love those quilts and the stack and wacks too. I am always amazed at all the different looks you get out of one fabric. I have made 2, using Oriental Fabrics. They are alot of fun!

I love your "ugly ol' girl' quilt. I like how all the blocks are different with the stack and whack and the way the scallops show off your original fabric.
