    I love your beautifully done quilt.I have always loved the mariners compass blocks.
    Had you considered a thin black border first. Just thought that might set off the intense colors in the quilt. Just some food for thought.

    Never thought about using a narrow black for first border because of black hst, but I will consider that and see how it looks. Thank you
