I like the turquoise and red combination or yellow and gray.

I love color combos that reflect a certain, historical era such as:
1970s - avocado green/harvest gold
1960s - bright neon green/purple
1950s - pink/black
1930s - tomato red/aqua
1920s - dusty pink/mint green
1910s - red/blue
1900s - red/white
1890s - muted browns/dark blues

I am on a big turquoise and tangerine kick lately; that's what's currently up on my design wall and those are the 2 accent colors I picked for my (mostly white) sewing room.

Blue & brown is a more classic combo that's another favorite of mine.

I recently did a quilt for a little girl in pink and spring green that turned out very cute.

Grey & yellow seems to be a popular combination, maybe starting to fall out of fashion a bit now but I like it and have fabrics stashed to make a gray & yellow quilt.

Denim blue and worn red, for that "Americana" look...

my bedroom quilt is aqua and white, used to have a tan and blue one and a res and white, and before that a rust and beige. any two go together. it's when you add the third that you have to be careful

I like the combo of pink and chocolate brown. I did a Quilts For Kids quilt with cupcake fabric (pink) and solid chocolate that looked great!
