    Thanks for this great tip ... I can't stand the noise of insul-brite, and although this has a slight sound, it's much, much, better. May also try felted wool ...

    I made a lot of pot holders casserole carriers ect,ect yes it is a little crinkly noisey working with it but after everything is put together don't notice the crinkly noise

    I layer it with cotton batting. Never heard the crinkly noise. Insulbrite on it's own won't stop the heat in a potholder or hot pad.
