Have fun making what works. I wish I were more handy and able to make things.... Next time. I'm not lucky enough to have a studio, so it has to be a little pretty.

    Hey all,
The legs that I ordered to make my sewing table from Amazon came in yesterday evening while we were sitting out tornado warnings in our unfinished basement. We were very fortunate as the storm that produced an F3 tornado just south of us passed directly over our location 1/2 hour later without producing a tornado, though there were high winds, funnel clouds and lots of scary sounds. I can't believe UPS had their drivers out delivering in that. Anyway:

This morning I put together my table in about 1/2 an hour using a 2/3" thick 16" x 36" panel that I bought from Lowes which I screwed to the adjustable legs. I have two of those folding plastic tables from Sam's club which I put together at right angles and then put my little adjustable table in the corner so my PQ1500s and it's extension table are flush with the table behind and the table to the left. It's just like having my machine sunk down into a sewing table, but I can easily get to the bobbin and everything is exactly the right height for me!

I ended up completely re-arranging my sewing room which took all day Tues and Wed. and most of today, but I love it. I'll post pictures in the mission organization forum tomorrow sometime.

    Rob
