If I'm tired I don't "do anything". It can be hazardous!!

Me, too, tessagin! Besides, it only wastes time because the next day you end up ripping out everything you tried to accomplish.

I watched that video but decided to make the carpenters wheel using HST and Squares. I wish the F&P videos would give the sizes. Even when I have the magazine, it's difficult to determine what sizes of what to cut.

I feel bad for you and I know the feeling---done that mistake before. Just sit back, take a deep breath and calm yourself. It all works out and maybe tomorrow will look a lot brighter for you. Good Luck and just remember-you are not alone in making this mistake.

How easy is that to do, I'm putting a quilt together and needed some filler blocks needed to finish at 4" ask me what size I cut them? Yup 4". Ask me how much fabric I have? Not enough, back to the drawing board.

I know I can relate to this and I'm sure a lot of other quilters can too. The fact that lots of others do it however often doesn't help when we are busy kicking our selves. Make your too small flying geese into a pin cushion or something.

Hey! I don't have to be sleepy or tired. It seems the first of anything can go wrong for me. Like making and reading directions for a purse, garment or complex quilting block can make my brain freeze. But once I push through it step by step and understand how it goes together, I can do it ten times faster and better the next time. Make sense? I am so sorry this happened to you. But, maybe knowing others have this problem too helps you not to be too hard on yourself.
