    Unique border. I like to try different borders to insure all my quilts don't have the same finish.

    I am lucky enough to have inherited a calico dresden plate quilt bordered with the ice cream cone border from my mom's things. I remember my mother treasuring it, so when it was up for grabs, I got it for safe keeping. She bought it from a lady in North Carolina. It is a beautiful treatment for this quilt pattern. The hand work to make this quilt and the border finish is all amazing.
