    I think it look fine, but it is busy. Most of the one's that I have seen use a stiff stabilizer like the one you can make postcards from not batting which is softer. Also, the back fabric is usually a contrasting fabric that makes a binding look out of three fabrics, not just two.

    I think you forgot to applique the 5" square to each block before attaching them together. That is what makes the contrast on the points. If your pattern is the Fold and Stitch Wreath, check your instructions page 2, # 9.
    I like your colors. I thought they were fun to make!

    Your wreath is lovely. Perhaps the stabilizer wasn't heavy enough to make the points stand up. Put a bowl of Snickers in the middle and no one will notice.

    Many guild members use the foam stabilizer to make these wreaths and use stark contrasting fabric. They are stunning. I think your opening is smaller then what I have seen.

    Some how the colors are off, to pale and too bright but not enough contrast???

    I haven't made one yet although I bought the pattern. This is all good info to know when a beginner tries to tackle it.

    I think Kitsie has it right. Both fabrics are great and your skill is quite good. The fabrics just don't "sing" together. More contrast is needed for sure. Nice work overall tho. Keep it up.

    Your folded wreath is so pretty. I agree with meyert....it's the button location. The buttons are holding different corners together. The petal design is different. It looks ok though...just not like all the others...you've made it your own.

    Is it me? I don't see any buttons. I have the pattern and haven't made one yet. Instructions just don't click with me.
