    gosh i haven't used shortening for so long i don't even know where to get it or what it looks like. i made brownies with cookies thrown in and it required veg.oil. didn't have any, used olive oil and it was fine. my son and granddtr live with me but no one eats here 98 percent of the time. so meatloaf is on my menu, freezing most of it. peanut butter cookies do sound good though!
