    Just beautiful... I have a hard time keeping design motifs 'big' as well. It's something I have to think about constantly while quilting.

    Varying the size of the flowers is what makes this an interesting pattern. As to your question about quilting in all areas.....yes! This type of motif fills in all spaces. It will look "unfinished", at this point, leaving spaces. The same motif could be used by quilting it more "open" on a different project. :-).

    I think what you have done so far is lovely and I am thinking about using this motif on a quilt I am ready to quilt. I just had not decided what to quilt on it yet.
