Won’t be joining you all until Sunday. Good Fortune and finishing the Northern Lights quilt.

I can't wait to see what everyone is working on this VQW! It is always so exciting and inspiring.

The living room is the only room with enough space for me to lay out a quilt for sandwiching, but my mother complains if I block her TV watching. If I can get someone to take her out for a few hours, then I will get a Thimbleberries floppy sandwiched and start doing the fmq. It's a long-time UFO I really want to check off my list.

If not, I will probably just work on string triangles for the BH Fair and Square quilt I'm working on. I need 40, and only have 12 done so far. At night, for handwork, I am working on some applique on another UFO.

I've already started! I'm sewing the binding on my latest quilt. It should be done by tomorrow morning. Then I'm loading my longarm with a practice quilt sandwich to practice my freemotion designs.

Oh, yes! I'm in! We're getting a cold, rainy weekend here. Perfect weather for quilting. I have made 7 tops for baby quilts during the past week. I hope to get them all sandwiched and I have 2 baby quilts that need their bindings finished.

    Thanks for hosting, Raggiemom.

does teaching a beginner quilt class count? That is , if we don't get ice--snow totals seem to be dwindling . We had 14" of snow this past Fri-Sat but thankfully much as melted!

I'm in. I'd like to get the scrappy top that I've been working on done so I can quilt it. We'll see how far I get.

I accomplished my strippy triangles goal for the day. Hopefully, I will get at least another 8 done tomorrow.

I'm in.. for part of each day. Working on a self-designed quilt. It's taking way longer than I expected. So I've decided to include only 3 quilted blocks and the rest to be improv piecing.

Are you saying you quilt through the night? I'm a night owl, so it'd be nice to find someone else who is.
