Just don’t want to get into too high a price. Will keep u posted.
I just priced the 9400. It was $4500. Too dear for me. Has anyone bought it at a cheaper price? If I purchase it online, can I bring it to any Janome dealer to honor the warranty? I think it would be less expensive online

I have a 8900. It is similar to the 8200 but with more stitches (which I don't use). Like it very much. The only problem I have is the feed dogs eat triangle points so I have to use a leader when sewing them. Otherwise the machine does everything I want and more. ETA: I paid $2,250.00 for mine and the list price was around $5,000.00. Some dealers give much better discounts than others.

Well, I did it! Just purchased a 9450. It was $4500 and trading in my 6600 brought it down to $3000! That means my trade in was worth $300 more than I paid for it over 11 years ago! Another dealer told me $3500 for the 9400 with upgrade, but would not take a trade. I have to drive 1 3/4 hr to get it, but to me that is well worth it. Can’t wait!

I know a Janome dealer would service your machine no matter where you bought it, however I would not buy from the internet and then ask my local dealer to service my machine.

I have a Janome 6500. Great machine. I purchased a Horizon 8200 Memory Craft 2 years ago. I just sold it (at a loss) and bought a Janome 6700. I love the 6700 (still have the 6500). The major thing I did not like about the 8200 is the slant of the front of the machine where the control buttons are (start/stop, scissors, tie off, reverse).
