Another idea might be that your iron is no longer heating up as much as before. Is it working as expected on other things?

I use either Pellon Shapeflex (a fusible knit tricot) or Pellon 911Ff on tshirt quilts. I use steam or a damp pressing cloth to help with the adhesion, but find that if a t-shirt is a poly blend instead of 100% cotton, the fusible doesn't want to stick well--it actually needs a lower temp, which doesn't always work with all fusibles. Part of the reason I prefer the shapeflex.

I disagree, I always use dryer sheets and never had any trouble with the fusible interfacing not sticking. I also use my steam iron. I've made 4 t-shirt quilts so far.

Sometimes the fusible is old. I took a class from Edyta Sitar and she said it must be 'juicy'.
