It’s absolutely lovely that you were able to give the quilt to another person that would appreciate it. What a heartwarming story.

Nancy, I bet your Mom would be the first one to tell you how pleased she was that you re-gifted it.

Sorry for your loss ... I lost my Mother in December. It is so nice that you were able to find someone to enjoy the fidgit quilt. Please update us when you return home and let us know what your "surprise" is. Doesn' really matter what the gift is ... just nice to know that they appreciate your kindness.

Aw, that's so nice that your quilt was so appreciated. I'm glad it made to the right person. It's really nice. And, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Nancy,
I lead a monthly sewing group making fidget quilts. We have made over 600 and given to area NH with dementia units. We also have given about 100 to customers who come into our shop and see our hanging, then ask about our Textured Comfort quilts. We tell them and many have taken a quilt or a kit to make on their own.
We find that this has been one our most rewarding areas in our sewing/quilting lives.
Sorry for your loss, but know that the quilt you made and regifted is truly making a difference.
Shalom
