Welcome to the QB from SE Michigan! You are in the right place to have loads of quilting and sewing fun. Over the years I have learned so much and have improved my skill to match. People are friendly and sharing is a key. I look forward to seeing you in these parts. Again welcome to the QB.

Default welcome from the sunset coast of Michigan

I also joined the board during the pandemic, got my sewing room set up, and started a round robin last year. Those deadlines and the forced creativity really helped the time move forward in a happy, exciting and positive way while sheltering at home. I hear you, a new therapy in the form of something fun really does help lift the spirits and people here are generally really really nice folks. Virtual Hugs!!

Hello and welcome. Last year was indeed hard on me and I held up pretty well until the end... I've been on a break from both quilting and this board but I'm starting to come back. Missed my quilting coffee breaks here It feels good to be both sewing and chatting again. Heck, it feels good to be upright and breathing most days.

I'm currently in Washington state, one of my best friends in my 20s was from the Conroe TX area so not so far away. Her daddy worked oil so we met in Alaska. I understand the area is much different now than 40 years ago! But most of us/our areas aren't quite the same either.
