    There is always a new mistake to be made when making a quilt. I have yet to make one without one and I have been quilting more than 30 years now and make several a year. You would think I could learn.

    Well shoot, that would have worked. Unfortunately I had already unsewed the whole side before I saw your post. Good idea though and I'll try to remember next time I do the same thing (and there probably will be a next time).

    My 'dumbest' mistake wasn't quilting, but alterations. I shortened the same pantleg twice!!!!!! Thank goodness, they were for me.
