    Happy Birthday! What a WOW of a present. The first thing I saw was the size of the "harp". It looks like a real plus for quilting.

    I hope you are getting better so you can spend some time playing with your new "toy". Happy sewing.

    Congratulations on your new machine! It reminds me of my Janome 1600P... both are great machines. I just know you are going to sew up a storm on it and looking forward to seeing the photo's of your endeavers. But I must admit it was the bullentin board on your wall that drew my attention...what a wonderful view to look at while you sew.

    I don't have that Juki but I did have a 98Q Juki and she was a dream to stitch with. I had her stretched to 18" long to put on my quilt frame years ago and never had any issues with her. Juki machines are well made, that's for sure so I'm sure you'll enjoy this one too. Are they still all metal machines or have they gone to plastic now? Hope not.

    Chase, you're going to love that machine! I have a similar one, the 2010 TL, almost identical and that thing is strong!
