I am hearing that aprons are going like hot cakes at craft fairs and such. They are quick and easy and very cute. Also pot holders, especially if you have a lot of orphan blocks that can be made up quickly. I have also made some cute "mousie" pin cushions, the patterns are $10.00 at your LQS.

Tissue covers are real easy to make up. They were a hit during the holidays. I made two kinds - one in holiday/wintery fabric and the other in summery fabric. Each sale set choose one of each kind

I make lavender eye pillows. They are very popular and easy to make. Make a approx 4 1/2 inch by 11 inch sack and fill it about 1/2 full- I use a cup of flax seeds and 1/2 cup lavender buds. They smell divine and are very helpful for people who get migraines or just need rest. I've made them for wedding parties, mothers to be, mothers with newborns, etc.

I sell them as a fundraiser for my dog rescue. $10.00 a piece and they sell! (The scent draws in buyers- have a couple on hand for "testers"- let people lean back and put it over their eyes.)

You can get lavender buds online fairly inexpensively. i use perfume grade rather than "craft" grade, as it often is old and has no scent. And I buy flax either online wholesale or at Wild Oats in bulk.

What about little cases that could be pencil cases or cosmetic cases? They're fast/easy!

Why not make up a little kit and pattern for sale? It would be a great gift for a crafty mom. Those little eye pillows would make a cute kit. I rarely see kits for sale at those craft shows. But, I know they would sell. You could make up pot holder kits easy enough too. There are plenty of blocks that would be cute as pot holders that are easy to get your hands on that don't have copyright on them.

What about using up some of your orphan fabrics into baking potato bags. They don't require a lot of fabric or time and sell like hot cakes. To get directiions, google "baking potato bags". I would check them all out.

After experimenting, I settled on making mine with a flip over top - similar to a purse.

They will easily sell for $10 each.

What would be great is to do Rhonda's miniature creations - she has the most wonderful patterns her on the forum - to make bookmarks, keychains....FABULOUS...did you check those out......

What about coffee cozies? They are a 'green' alternative to the disposable ones that Starbucks uses and much cuter.
