For me it depends on how big the quilt is, but I can meander a 56 X 72 in 2 - 2-1/2 hours on my sewing machine.

It really depends on the quilt. It takes me longer to pick just the right pattern than it does to actually quilt it. I can do a lap quilt on my domestic machine in two or three days working on it a few hours at a time. This also depends on how dense the quilting is and how intricate the design is.
