    Beautiful! Much more "visually stimulating" than pastels! I'm sure they will love it!
    (One of the first few baby quilts I made, about 30 yrs ago, for a mathematician and a physicist, was an Escher design. The parents still have the quilt on the back of their sofa. Maybe your market gardeners will hang this on the wall when the baby outgorws the crib!)

    the contrasts and colors in this quilt will catch baby's eye and s/he will spend lots of time Looking and Reaching. Pastel quilts are looked at more by parents & visitors. lol

    Not your "garden variety " baby quilt!! I think it is CUTER!
    That should keep the baby busy for quite some time, and is so appropriate for any gardeners baby.
