I am happy to see you treated yourself today and are getting through the memories. Today is my mom's birthday she would of been 84 today, yesterday was the 11th anniversary of her passing, if you can call it an anniversary. I was blessed to have a wonderful mother and to have had two days of activities to have kept me busy. Quilting guild and Friday quilter's meet. See quilting and quilting friends make the world a happier place. :) Huggles

Isn't it something, no matter how long it has been, we still have some sad feelings. We miss them dearly and try to envision our lives with them still in it. My daughter said this very thing a couple weeks ago when we went to a funeral of my husband's oldest sister. She said she still tries to imagine her dad if he had lived to be 82. Well, we are still here and have to go on as best we can; because that is what they would have wanted. I try so hard not to feel sad. Thanks again, everyone for your caring about a total stranger who is also a friend.

I know it's hard, my mom will be gone 7 years, Valentines day. Still miss her everyday. Especially with all this quilting going on. She loved to piece and quilt quilts. Glad you are having a good day for yourself. God Bless
